International Marine Contractors Association – IMCA
The IMCA is the international trade association representing offshore, marine and underwater engineering companies. It promotes improvements to quality, health, safety and technical standards. Global Marine offer and IMCA aligned three week ROV training course for new entrants joining the industry.
Career transition Partnership – CTP
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) is the name given to a partnering agreement between the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Right Management, who are global career development and outplacement specialists. This simply means the MoD contract the CTP to provide eligible Service leavers with career transition services as part of their resettlement process.
The Career Transition Programme provides dedicated one-to-one employment and career consultancy, access to vocational resettlement training with funding support and a job finding service. Global Marine have been approved by the CTP as preferred suppliers.

Enhanced Learning Credits
The MoD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The ELC scheme provides financial support in the form of a single up-front payment. ELC funding is only available for pursuit of higher level learning. Marine Subsea Training is a recognised training provider for Forces Leaver, so if you haven’t done so already please have a look at the following website as you may be eligible for a grant from the MoD.
